Updating the Blog:
I've been spending some time recently working on my Blogger template. As i now have proper home page I have decided to merge the two together.
I have played around with the idea of using wordpress and hosting the blog myself. But Blogger is so handy I thought I'd have a go at modifying one of the standard Blogger templates to make it look like my web site and make it look like the blog page is actually hosted on my home page when it isn't. I'm giving the game away now...damn! But I'm assuming that you are all cleaver enough to have noticed this anyway. So click on the Blog tab at the top and see what you think. And please if you feel like commenting please do. You just need to click on the comments link at the bottom of each post.
Photos
As you can see I've got loads of photos of the wedding now. In fact I've got some more I've not managed to put up on the site yet.
The whole flickr account thing is working out well. I'd suggest that you all get an account, even a free one, or sign up for some other type of photo hosting site. They are so convenient for sharing photos with lots of people and a useful way of backing up your photos. You can make your photos private too so only people you invite can see them.
I've not been able to do that because the flash slideshow I'm using on my site doesn't work if you are not logged on as a member of flickr. Shame really because a bit of privacy is nice...maybe I'll be able to come up with an alternative way of seeing the photos in the future. It works well as it is at the moment though so I’m not going messing around with it until I get the rest of the site up and running.
